PATH service suspended at Hoboken station; Cross honoring in effect; Leave extra travel time during p.m. commute

As a result of an earlier fire, and subsequent repairs at the Hoboken PATH station, PATH service into and out of Hoboken on the 33rd Street and World Trade Center lines is currently suspended. PATH does not anticipate repairs will be complete, and service restored, in time for the evening commute.  

Commuters are strongly encouraged to allow extra travel time, particularly during peak evening hours.

PATH expects service to remain for 33rd - JSQ and WTC - NWK. Service from WTC – 33rd Street will run through Newport.  

New York Waterway is cross honoring on the ferry from Brookfield Place to Hoboken. NJ Transit is cross honoring on the Hudson Bergen Light Rail, on the #126 and #87 buses, and on rail at Hoboken, New York Penn Station, Newark Penn Station, and Secaucus.   

Residents are encouraged to check the PATH app, website, and official social media channels for the latest updates. 

The City will also continue to share updates as they become available, via Nixle and the City’s social media accounts.
