Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., reports that Newark Connect, a service that allowed Newark residents and business owners to directly report streets in need of snow removal to the Emergency Operations Center, has closed its operations today, Friday, February 27, 2026.
The phone numbers and QR code for Newark Connect have been deactivated.
Director Miranda thanks all Newark residents and business owners in advance for your patience and cooperation during this snow removal operation.
He also urges anyone with information regarding any criminal activity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
