Welfare Check Leads to Arrest of Chino Man for Burglary

LOCATION: 9200 Block of Milliken Ave, Rancho Cucamonga
SUSPECT(S): Uriel Ayer, 30-year-old, Resident of Chino
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, February 25, at approximately 6:03 a.m., Rancho Cucamonga deputies responded to a call for service reference a welfare check on an unknown subject who appeared to be under the influence.
Deputies arrived on scene and contacted a subject matching the description, later identified as Uriel Ayer. It was discovered that Ayer had possibly committed a burglary at a business near the area. Deputies conducted an area check and located a business with a shattered window. Deputies found that Ayer was the suspect responsible for that burglary.
Ayer was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for PC459 - Burglary and PC594(B)(1)- Vandalism of $400 or more.
