Increased Police Presence at Houses of Worship

Chief Raymond Hayducka Statement to the Community;

In light of the ongoing conflict in Iran, I want to take a moment to address our community directly. While there is currently no information indicating any specific or credible threats to our local area, we are taking proactive steps to ensure the continued safety and security of all residents.

Out of an abundance of caution, you will notice an increased police presence around houses of worship and other sensitive locations throughout our community. These measures are preventative and are part of our commitment to maintaining a safe environment for everyone.

We are actively coordinating and sharing information with our federal, state, and county law enforcement partners to stay informed and prepared. Our department remains vigilant, and we are closely monitoring developments as they unfold.

I encourage all residents to remain alert and aware of their surroundings. If you see something that seems unusual or suspicious, please report it to our department immediately. Community awareness and partnership are essential components of public safety.

Let me reassure you again: at this time, there are no known local issues or threats. These actions are precautionary and reflect our dedication to keeping our community safe.
