The male victim, 25, was working at an area business when he observed the suspect taking store merchandise. The victim confronted the suspect, who assaulted the victim as he tried to flee. The victim was able to detain the suspect. The victim was uninjured. ARRESTED: Kevin Khem, 34, for robbery and warrants.
2. Robbery (1345) Martin Luther King Blvd and Sutter Street, Seaport District
The female victim, 24, was in the listed area when she was involved in an altercation with the suspect, who assaulted her, took her property, and fled in a sedan. The victim was treated at an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECT: Black female adult.
3. Weapon Arrest (2315) 4000 Block of Logan Lane, Park District
Officers responded to the listed area regarding a vehicle accident. During a search of one of the vehicles, they located a reported stolen firearm. The driver was taken into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Jorge Martinez, 29, for weapon charges.
4. Robbery (0045) Tam O’Shanter Drive and Danny Drive, Valley Oak District
The female victim, 53, was driving in the listed area and pulled over to pick up property when the known suspect approached, brandished a firearm, and demanded she open her car door. The victim complied, and the suspect took her property before fleeing. The victim was not injured. SUSPECT: Hispanic Male.
