Winter Weather Advisory until 08:00PM Thursday

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to 3 inches along Mountain City Highway, up to 7 inches in Jarbidge Wilderness Area and up to 11 inches in the Ruby Mountains and East Humboldt Range. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Northern Elko and Ruby Mountains and East Humboldt Range in Elko Counties.

* WHEN...From 4 PM Wednesday to 7 PM PST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes. Strong winds could cause tree damage.

* AFFECTED AREAS: NORTHERN ELKO COUNTY ... RUBY MOUNTAINS AND EAST HUMBOLDT RANGE
