INCIDENT: PC 4532(B)(1) - Attempt Escape - Electronic Monitoring Program
PC 1203.2(A)(1) - Violation of Probation
LOCATION: Front Street / K Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Heather Jewell, 51-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Monday, March 2, 2026, at approximately 1:16 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department contacted Heather Jewell during a traffic enforcement stop near Front Street and K Street in the City of Needles.
During the stop, Jewell was determined to be on active probation and subject to court ordered electronic monitoring. Deputies discovered that Jewell was not wearing her required ankle monitor at the time of contact. Based on this violation, Jewell was arrested on the above mentioned charges.
Jewell was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking and remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with no bail, awaiting a court hearing.
