VC 23152(a) - Driving under the Influence of Alcohol
LOCATION: Green Tree Boulevard / Greenbriar Drive, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Brittany Barker, 35-year-old, Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Sunday, March 1, 2026, at approximately 1:08 a.m., Sergeant M. Young observed a blue Ford Focus being followed by several pickup trucks near the intersection of Rodeo Drive and Green Tree Boulevard.
The Focus had one completely shredded tire and drove on the rim. Sergeant Young conducted a traffic stop and contacted the driver, Brittany Barker. Barker’s 7-year-old daughter was seated unrestrained in the front passenger seat. Through investigation, it was determined Barker drove from Apple Valley, traveled on the wrong side of the roadway, and struck multiple curbs. The occupants of the pickup trucks were identified as citizens, attempting to stop Barker due to her erratic driving.
Brittany Barker was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto for, PC 273A(a) - Child Endangerment, and VC23152(a) - Driving under the Influence of Alcohol.
