Sheriff's K-9 Nina, Assists Deputies in Recovering Assault Weapon in Victorville

INCIDENT: PC 30605(a) – Possession of an Assault Weapon
LOCATION: 14000 block of Honeysuckle Street, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Francisco Gonzalez, 37-year-old, Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Sunday, March 1, 2026, Deputy K. Robinson from the Victorville Police Department conducted an investigation regarding the illegal possession of firearms at a residence in the 14000 block of Honeysuckle Street.
During the service of a search warrant, deputies detained multiple occupants without incident. With the assistance of K-9 Nina, deputies located an AR-15 style rifle, defined as an assault weapon under California law, and two loaded magazines.
Francisco Gonzalez was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto for, PC30605(a) –Possession of an Assault Weapon.
