The male victim, 63, was in the area when the armed suspect approached and struck the victim, causing non-life-threatening injuries. Officers detained the suspect without incident. ARRESTED: Brenda Dominguez, 42, for assault with a deadly weapon.

Officers conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle. During the stop, the driver admitted to having a loaded firearm in the vehicle. ARRESTED: Jonathan Rangel-Cruz, 28, for weapons charges.
3. Weapons Arrest (2218) Doray Court and Pixie Drive, Civic District
Officers were in the listed area when the suspect ran from them and discarded a loaded firearm. The suspect was arrested but began resisting when he was placed into a patrol vehicle and had to be restrained. ARRESTED: James Allen, 29, for weapons charges and resisting arrest.

The male victim, 62, was in the area when the armed suspect approached him, took his property, and fled the area. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
5. Weapons Arrest (0013) 9000 Block of Thornton Road, Bear Creek District
Officers responded to the area regarding a suspicious vehicle. The driver was contacted, and a loaded handgun was found in the vehicle. ARRESTED: Tien Nguyen, 44, for weapons charges
