Armed Robbery Investigation

The Culver City Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on the evening of Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at a gas station in the city.

At approximately 6:18 p.m., Culver City Police responded to a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred at a gas station on the 5700 block of Washington Boulevard.

According to the preliminary investigation, a male suspect entered the business, produced a black semi-automatic handgun, and pointed it at an employee behind the counter. The suspect demanded money from the register.

The employee opened the register, and the suspect removed approximately $300 in U.S. currency. The suspect then demanded additional money before exiting the store and walking southbound on Fairfax Avenue, where he was last seen leaving the area on foot.

Officers quickly responded to the scene and conducted an extensive search of the surrounding area, but were unable to locate the suspect. No injuries were reported during the incident.

The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 6 feet tall, with a thin build.

The investigation remains ongoing.
