Flood Advisory until 07:00AM Thursday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Missouri, including the following counties, Bollinger, Cape Girardeau and Perry.

* WHEN...Until 700 AM CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 148 AM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Perryville, Alliance, Daisy, Patton, Oak Ridge, Sedgewickville, Longtown, Old Appleton and Silver Lake. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
