On today's date at about 9 am, an outside agency conducted a felony car stop in the area of Margarite Maze School for a wanted suspect.
The Hollister Police Department was not involved in the initial car stop. However, the police department requested the school to be placed on lockdown in the abundance of caution. The incident was isolated and there are no threats to the school.
The lockdown was lifted at about 9:30 am. The outside agency car stop is NOT ICE and the incident does not involve any immigration related agencies.
