1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1300) 2500 Block of Belleview Avenue, Park District
The female victim, 26, was at a residence in the listed area when she got into an argument with the known suspect. The suspect picked up a metal rod, struck the victim with it, vandalized the victim’s property, and fled on foot. Officers located and arrested the suspect without incident. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and declined medical attention. ARRESTED: Jason Butler, 37, for assault with a deadly weapon, vandalism, and destruction of phone lines.
