Activity for March 5, 2026:
- Officer Fitzpatrick was dispatched to the 700 block of North Blackstone Street for a larceny report.
- Officer Bean visited with students at St. John’s Elementary School.
- Officer Richardson conducted a traffic stop at Ellery Avenue and Rock Street. The 44-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated – 3rd offense.
- Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 300 block of Steward Avenue. A 52-year-old female was arrested for domestic assault – 3rd offense.
- Officer S. Smith met with Hillsdale County Deputies for a warrant pick-up. A 29-year-old male was lodged at JSO on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officers are investigating a stabbing that occurred in the 700 block of Greenwood Avenue. The victim received treatment at the hospital and is in stable condition.
- Officers responded to South Elm Avenue and East Michigan Avenue for a stabbing. The victim has a non-life-threatening wound, and is in stable condition.
