Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., announces that the following streets will be closed during the below designated hours due to a memorial service for Fallen Newark Police Sergeant Joseph A. Azcona, who died in the line of duty on March 8, 2025, after a shooting.
Beginning from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. – Saturday, March 7, 2026
• Broadway between Elliot Street and Elwood Avenue
