Watch Commander's Night Report - March 5, 2026

CAD CALLS: 836

1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest (1805) 4100 Block of Utica Court, Park District

The male victim, 63, was inside a residence in the listed area when the known suspect began to argue with him. The suspect picked up multiple metal objects, threw them at the victim, and fled. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and declined medical attention. The suspect was later located and arrested without incident. ARRESTED: Matthew Orosco, 41, for assault with a deadly weapon.

2. Armed Robbery (1808) 5900 Block of Eldon Way, Valley Oak District

The male victim, 26, was exiting a vehicle in the listed area when the armed suspects began chasing him. The victim fell, and the suspects removed the victim’s property before fleeing in a vehicle. The victim was uninjured. SUSPECTS: Two Black male adults and an unknown-race male adult.

3. Robbery Arrest (2033) 1200 Block of East Hammer Lane, Valley Oak District

The male victim, 29, was working in the listed area when he confronted the suspects who stole merchandise. The male suspect struck the victim as they struggled over the merchandise. The female suspect threatened the victim as she exited the business with store property. The victim was uninjured. Officers took the suspects into custody. The male suspect was in possession of narcotics, and he provided a false name to the officers. ARRESTED: #1 Urbano Rosales, 40, for robbery, conspiracy, vandalism, providing a false name, violation of a restraining order, narcotic charges, and outstanding warrants. #2 Amy McCallum, 34, for robbery, conspiracy, and outstanding
warrants.

4. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0051) El Dorado Street and Vine Street, Civic District

The male victim,19, and the female victim, 20, were in the listed area when they began to argue. As the victims sat inside a vehicle, a known suspect drove up in a vehicle and fired a gun toward their direction, striking the vehicle. The victims were uninjured. The suspect fled the area. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
