Instructions:
The National Weather Service has issued a TORNADO WATCH effective including the Bates City area. A Tornado Watch means that conditions are favorable for the development of severe thunderstorms that have a high probability of producing tornadoes. These severe thunderstorms may also contain winds of 58 miles per hour or greater and/or hail of 1 inch diameter or greater. Severe thunderstorms may also produce flooding rains, and/or dangerous lightning, and/or may produce tornadoes with little or no warning.
