On March 06, 2026, the Simi Valley Police Department was alerted through a FLOCK notification of a possible armed wanted felon in the area of Sycamore Dr and the 118 Freeway. An officer checked the area and located the occupied vehicle at Sycamore Dr and Cochran St.
The occupant, identified as Jacob Raul Vera (wanted out of Montebello), was detained.
Vera was positively identified, arrested, and later released to Montebello Police Department for booking on the outstanding felony weapons violation warrant.
