Delhi Repair Cafe is today!
The Town of Delhi wants you to know that there will be a Delhi Repair Cafe on Saturday, March 7, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Bushel at 106 Main Street.
Repair Cafes are free community events where you bring your broken but beloved items, and volunteer repair coaches help you FIX THEM.
Organized by Transition Catskills and the Delhi Community Resiliency Committee, the Repair Cafe will allow you to work with a volunteer coach to help fix lamps, vacuums, electrical items, small appliances, clothing and textiles, stuffed animals and more.
Transition Catskills is a group of your neighbors in the Catskills region who have come together to explore how we can make our communities more resilient in the face of resource depletion, climate change, and economic instability. We are looking for ways to strengthen what’s already here and what’s already working, and to re-imagine what we can make better.
The Delhi Community Resiliency Committee is a collection of Delhi residents who are helping to guide Delhi into a greener future.
