On 03/06/2026, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Officers were dispatched to Edison Middle School at 1649 S Chatham, for a disturbance and a juvenile armed with a firearm.
Upon arrival, officers located no active disturbance and spoke with staff that denied seeing any disturbance or firearm. Officers canvassed the school grounds and surrounding residences with no firearms located.
