* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  East central Wyandotte County in northeastern Kansas...
  Clay County in west central Missouri...
  Western Ray County in west central Missouri...
  Southwestern Lafayette County in west central Missouri...
  Southeastern Platte County in west central Missouri...
  Jackson County in west central Missouri...

* Until 1230 AM CST.

* At 1150 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Gladstone to Northmoor to Grandview, moving
  east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

 Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 0 and 37.
 Interstate 35 in Missouri between mile markers 0 and 25.
 Interstate 29 between mile markers 0 and 5.
 Interstate 635 between mile markers 11 and 12.
 Interstate 470 between mile markers 0 and 16.
 Interstate 435 between mile markers 42 and 73.
 Interstate 49 between mile markers 179 and 183.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CST for west central
Missouri. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 400 AM CST for
northeastern Kansas...and west central Missouri.
