Winter Weather Advisory until 10:00AM Monday

...SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS CONTINUE THROUGH MONDAY MORNING.. .Bands of snow showers will continue to move west to east across southeast Alaska Sunday night into Monday morning. These snow showers may be moderate to heavy at times, resulting in variable snow amounts across the region. Under the heaviest snow showers showers, expect visibilities to be reduced to one mile or less with isolated areas seeing upwards of 2 to 5 inches of snowfall by Monday morning.

* WHAT...Snow showers. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches.

* WHERE...City and Borough of Sitka, Prince of Wales Island, Ketchikan Gateway Borough and Annette Island.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM AKDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Due to the nature of these snow showers, snow accumulations and impacts will be highly variable across region.

* AFFECTED AREAS: CITY AND BOROUGH OF SITKA ... PRINCE OF WALES ISLAND ... KETCHIKAN GATEWAY BOROUGH ... ANNETTE ISLAND
