Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., announces that the following streets will be closed during the hours below due to the City of Newark’s Drive Up and Go Food Distribution event:
Beginning from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Wednesday, March 11, 2026
• Clinton Avenue between Hunterdon Street and Seymour Avenue
• Seymour Avenue between Madison Avenue and Clinton Avenue
• Chadwick Avenue between West Bigelow Street and Madison Avenue
• Bergen Street between Madison Avenue and West Bigelow Street
The food drive begins at 10 a.m. and will be held at Clinton Avenue and Chadwick Avenue.
Drivers are advised to anticipate delays and plan alternate routes.
Director Miranda thanks you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this event.
