Wilmington Police arrest man in connection to robbery incident:
Wilmington Police have arrested a man in connection to a robbery incident.
On February 14th at approximately 9:08 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 100 block of South Harrison Street in reference to an assault and robbery that had occurred, and during which a suspect was armed with a knife. The victim was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
The case was assigned to Detective Joran Merced of the Criminal Investigations Division. Through the course of his investigation, Detective Merced identified 20-year-old Qaadair Parks as a suspect and obtained warrants for his arrest. On March 6th, officers located Parks in the 200 block of North Franklin Street and took him into custody without incident.
Parks has been charged with the following offenses:
- Robbery (First Degree)
- Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony
- Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Person Prohibited
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
