The male victim, 66, was in the listed area when the suspects pulled up in a vehicle. The suspects asked the victim to lean forward, and as the victim did so, the suspect grabbed his property from his person and fled. SUSPECTS: An Indian male adult and an Indian female adult.
2. Resisting Arrest (1640) 600 Block of North Wilson Way, Park District
Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a subject refusing to leave. Officers attempted to detain the suspect, but he pulled away. Officers used force to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Juan Abarca, 29, for resisting arrest.
3. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1847) 2400 Block of Sandalwood Drive, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 36, was in the listed area when the known suspect shot at him during a dispute. The victim was uninjured. SUSPECT: Cambodian male adult.
4. Person Shot (2243) 1400 Block of West March Lane, Lakeview District
The female victim, 39, and the male victim, 32, were driving through the listed area when their vehicle was shot at. The female victim suffered a gunshot injury and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The male victim was uninjured. There is no suspect description.
5. Person Shot (0443) 600 Block of North Sierra Nevada Street, Park District
The male victim, 49, was in the listed area when he accidentally shot himself. The victim was found to be prohibited from possessing firearms and had an outstanding arrest warrant. The victim received treatment at an area hospital for a non-life-threatening injury. ARRESTED: Ben Butler, 49, for weapon and warrant charges.
