Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., requests the public’s help in identifying the pictured male and female suspects in connection with a shooting that occurred on Thursday, October 16, 2025.
At approximately 2:33 a.m., Police responded to calls of shots fired at the 100 block of Warwick Street and at the 200 block of New York Avenue. Responding Officers did not locate any victims or property damage due to gunfire. However, ballistics evidence was located in the area of Pulaski Street near New York Avenue.
Detectives investigating this incident are seeking the male and female suspects who were in the area at the time of the shooting. The male was wearing a Pagans motorcycle club sweater. The couple was driving a black Mazda CX4 or CX5.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information about the identity of either suspect or the whereabouts of the suspects’ vehicle to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
