Officers were in the listed area and observed a vehicle driving recklessly and fleeing. Officers located the vehicle, contacted the driver, who refused to comply, and force was used to take him into custody. ARRESTED: Zaire Goodman, 20, for reckless driving, vandalism, and resisting arrest.
2. Weapon Arrest (2237) 900 Block of West Charter Way, Seaport District
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle in the listed area. During a search of the vehicle, officers located a loaded handgun. ARRESTED: Damian Sharp, 30, for weapon charges.
3. Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest (2249) 5000 Block of Wild Grape Drive, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 19, was inside his residence when the known suspect attempted to stab him with a knife. Officers responded and arrested the suspect without incident. ARRESTED: Tou Xiong, 43, for assault with a deadly weapon.
4. Pursuit Arrest (0002) 3200 Block of West Hammer Lane, Bear Creek District
An officer attempted to conduct a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle in the listed area. The driver failed to yield, leading officers on a pursuit. The pursuit ended when the driver pulled over and surrendered. ARRESTED: Jose Alvarez, 27, for DUI, warrants, and traffic charges.
5. Person Shot (0607) El Dorado Street and Worth St, Seaport District
The female victim, 23, was driving in the area when the occupant of another vehicle shot her. The victim was treated at an area hospital for a non-life-threatening injury. There is no suspect information.
