The National Weather Service has placed Cooper County in the Slight Risk of Severe Storms this afternoon and overnight. There is potential for large hail, damaging winds and tornados. Storms this afternoon may start around 5-8 PM but the higher threat for Cooper County is between 9PM and 1AM. There is a marginal risk of heavy rains during these events.
