A message sent on behalf of the Ho-Ho-Kus School District
This message is being sent on behalf of the Ho-Ho-Kus School District-
Dear Ho-Ho-Kus Families and Community,
Tonight, the results of the special budget election were announced — and the vote passed!
While absentee ballots are still being counted, the current results confirm that the outcome will not change. The vote is a YES for our students, our school, and our community!
I am deeply grateful to each and every one of you. This victory belongs to this community. You went door to door. You hosted coffee chats. You talked with your neighbors, answered questions, created flyers, and made sure everyone had the information they needed to make their voice heard. That kind of grassroots effort is rare, and it did not go unnoticed.
Thank you to all of you who came out today to vote — and a special welcome to those casting a ballot for the very first time. There is something truly meaningful about choosing this moment, this community, and this cause as the one that brought you to the polls. Tonight is a direct result of the time, energy, and heart that so many of you gave to this effort.
This is an exciting moment for our district. The work ahead is meaningful, and we are energized and ready. As we move forward, we will continue to share our budget calendar, board meeting schedules, and any future opportunities for the community to vote, as well as district updates so our community always knows what is happening in our district.
Thank you from all of us here at Ho-Ho-Kus School. I could not be more proud to serve this community, and tonight reminds me exactly why.
With excitement and gratitude,
Linda Bovino-Romeo, Ph.D.
