INCIDENT: P.C. 211 – Robbery
LOCATION: Arvila Street/Georgetown Lane, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Unknown Hispanic Male Juvenile
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at approximately 4:33 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery in the area of Arvila Street and Georgetown Lane, in Victorville.
Deputies learned a female juvenile was walking home from school when she was approached by an unknown Hispanic male juvenile. The suspect lifted his shirt, displaying the grip of a handgun tucked into his pants pocket, and demanded the victim’s chain. The victim handed over the chain and the suspect fled from the area.
The victim ran to her father who was parked nearby. The father chased the suspect and confronted him in the backyard of a nearby residence. During the encounter, the suspect dropped the stolen chain, which was recovered. The suspect continued to flee, jumping fences and running through residential backyards. Deputies conducted an extensive area check, including a search by Sheriff’s Aviation, but the suspect was not located.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic male juvenile, approximately 16 years old, with a bowl-style haircut. He was last seen wearing a black Nike Tech sweatshirt, black sweatpants, black glasses, and carrying a backpack. The investigation is ongoing.
