Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., requests the public’s help in locating Christina Guzman, wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting that occurred on Sunday, February 8, 2026.
At approximately 3:05 a.m., Police responded to Abington Avenue near Clifton Avenue on a call of shots fired. Responding Officers located a man who had been shot. The Officers rendered aid until EMS arrived to transport him to University Hospital for treatment. The man is reportedly in stable condition.
Detectives investigating this incident seek Ms. Guzman for questioning.
