Full Notification

In June of 2025, the Janesville Police Department was notified of an adult sending nude images to a child.  A search of electronic devices and additional interviews were conducted.  Today, March 11th, Joseph Cook was arrested on a traffic stop near Ruether Way and Elliot Street in the City of Janesville.  A search warrant was served at Cook’s residence in Janesville and an additional electronic storage device was located.  ESD K9 Maui was deployed during the search of the residence.  Cook was held in custody at the Rock County Jail for his charges.

Unlawful use of computerized equipment
