Idalou Emergency Siren Test Thursday, March 12th 
The City of Idalou will conduct a test of the Emergency Warning Siren System on Thursday, March 12 at 10:00 a.m.
The previously scheduled tests were postponed due to overcast skies and the potential for storms. The City chose not to conduct the test at that time to avoid causing unnecessary concern for residents.
If weather conditions prevent testing on Thursday, the backup test date will be Friday, March 13 at 10:00 a.m.
Please note that outdoor warning sirens are intended to alert individuals who are outdoors that dangerous conditions may be approaching, and they may not always be heard indoors.
