Contractors will be conducting street resurfacing work on several city streets in the coming weeks as part of our annual roadway maintenance program.
During this time, residents may notice temporary lane closures, construction equipment, and brief traffic delays in areas where paving crews are working. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained as much as possible, but drivers are encouraged to use caution and allow extra travel time when traveling through work zones.
Street resurfacing is part of the City’s ongoing effort to maintain safe and reliable roadways throughout the community. Each year, the City Council approves a list of streets for paving based on roadway condition, including factors such as cracks, potholes, and general ride quality.
