Possible Survey Text Phishing Attempt 
The City of Idalou has been notified that a resident received a text message claiming to be from Dynata requesting participation in a survey about local issues.
Dynata is a legitimate research company; however, their name has reportedly been used in phishing attempts. Residents should be cautious when receiving unexpected text messages containing survey links.
If you receive a similar message:
• Do not click unknown links
• Do not provide personal information
• Delete the message if you are unsure of its legitimacy
The City of Idalou will not send surveys to residents through unsolicited text message links.
Please remain cautious and report suspicious messages when possible.
