Precinct One deputies are stepping up patrols near religious institutions throughout the precinct as a precautionary measure following an attack on a synagogue in suburban Detroit today.
After a man rammed a truck into the house of worship, on-site private security officers exchanged gunfire with the driver, who was soon found dead.
As with any life-threatening emergency, anyone who witnesses a life-threatening act should immediately call 9-1-1.
