...A BAND OF ORGANIZED SHOWERS WILL MOVE OVER SOUTHERN PANHANDLE THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY... .A semi organized band of showers will move across Prince of Wales Island and the southern inner channels Thursday night and Friday. Shower activity can have highly variable accumulations and may track inland variably.

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 3 inches.

* WHERE...Ketchikan Gateway Borough.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 4 PM AKDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Due to the scattered nature & varying intensity of these snow showers, snow accumulations and impacts will be highly variable across the region.

* AFFECTED AREAS: KETCHIKAN GATEWAY BOROUGH
