This is a message from the Clay County Water and Sewer Department. There has been a main water line break on Tusquittee Street, causing a water outage throughout the downtown Hayesville area and several other surrounding locations near the downtown area. Water and Sewer Director Dusty Beal reports that water will be off at all these locations for most of today, Friday, February 13, 2026. Further information will be sent out later today.
