Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., requests the public’s help in identifying the below-pictured suspect in connection with a shooting that occurred on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.
At approximately 11:45 a.m. Police responded to Grafton Avenue near Broadway on a call of shots fired. Responding Officers located ballistics evidence and later located a male victim who was uninjured. However, the hood of the victim’s vehicle had been damaged by gunfire.
Detectives investigating this incident seek the public’s help in identifying the pictured individual, who was observed on
surveillance cameras discharging a firearm, striking the victim’s vehicle.
