🚩 Trinity County Fire Safety Advisory 🚩
Trinity County is currently under a Wind Advisory for the next two days, and our local fire departments are asking everyone to please avoid any outdoor burning during this time.
Even though we have received some rain recently, most of the vegetation across the county is still brown, dry, and highly flammable, which provides excellent fuel for a fire. With the current wind conditions, a small fire could quickly get out of control.
Weather Conditions:
• Winds: North 20–30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph
• Relative Humidity: As low as 18%
Impact:
Any fire that develops under these conditions can spread very rapidly. Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged.
We appreciate everyone working together to help keep our volunteer fire departments and our communities safe. A little caution now can prevent a major wildfire later.
Thank you for your cooperation and please share this information with your neighbors.
