The NYC Emergency Management Department advises New Yorkers to prepare for potential heavy rain tomorrow, Monday, 3/16. The National Weather Service has forecast rates ​of up to 1 inch of rain per hour. Total rainfall amounts of around 1.25 inches are anticipated with locally higher amounts possible.

Periods of heavy rain may cause localized flooding in the city, including highways, streets, basements, and underpasses. Report clogged catch basins by calling 311.
