Headlines:
Blizzard conditions will impact Central Iowa Sunday thru Monday Blizzard Warning from 1pm Sunday to 7am Monday
Extremely difficult travel conditions due to snowfall and very high winds
Very dangerous situation for motorists if they become stranded
High confidence that winds will gust 55-65+ mph
Medium confidence on exact snow amounts but 1-4 inches very likely in the Des Moines area
Snow amounts are less important... any snow that does fall will be blown and create extreme difficult travel
Dangerous cold temps and wind-chill will follow (as low as -14F). Extreme Temp Plan for Polk County will be in effect.
