Severe thunderstorms possible tomorrow, heavy rains/strong winds – Wind Advisory in effect
The North Brunswick Office of Emergency Management is monitoring a strong cold front that could bring severe thunderstorms to the area tomorrow. While the highest risk of severe weather will likely stay to our southwest, heavy rain and strong winds are forecasted throughout the day.
A Wind Advisory is in effect from 2 p.m. Monday to 2 a.m. Tuesday. Winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Periods of heavy rainfall could cause flash flooding.
Please use caution while driving tomorrow, especially in the afternoon and evening.
