An arrest has been made following the Friday evening shooting that occurred in Marion.
James Lee McKinney Jr., 56, of Marion, has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently being held in the McDowell County Detention Center.
He has been charged with felony Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury.
The victim, 28-year-old Austin Revis, also of Marion, is listed in stable condition and currently receiving treatment for his injuries.
This investigation remains ongoing.
