* At 623 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles southwest of Shattuc, or 7 miles west of Centralia, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include... Wamac, Centralia, Central City, Junction City, Sandoval, Walnut Hill, Fairman, Odin, Patoka, Kell, Vernon, Tonti, Salem, Alma, Iuka, Helm, Kinmundy, Omega, Stephen Forbes Station and Farina. This includes Interstate 57 in Illinois between exits 109 and 127.
