* WHAT...Mixed precipitation changing to snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze. Locally higher snowfall amounts are possible near the ridgetops and higher windward slopes. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.
* WHERE...Northwest Pocahontas, Northwest Randolph, Southeast Randolph, Southeast Webster, and Southeast Nicholas Counties.
* WHEN...From 3 PM this afternoon to 5 PM EDT Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday evening and Tuesday morning commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Behind a very strong cold front, temperatures will fall rapidly through the evening and night. This may lead to flash freeze conditions as temperatures plummet well below freezing. Wind chill temperatures tonight will fall into the lower single digits, even below zero.
