Western Lee County in central North Carolina... Chatham County in central North Carolina...

* Until 1130 AM EDT.

* At 1055 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 7 miles southeast of Greensboro to Seagrove to 7 miles northeast of Ansonville, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Greensboro, Burlington, Sanford, Asheboro, Graham, Southern Pines, Randleman, Pittsboro, Troy, and Carthage. This includes the following highways... Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 122 and 131. Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 132 and 161, between Mile Markers 219 and 221, and between Mile Markers 224 and 226. US 1 between Mile Markers 69 and 72. Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 36 and 89, and between Mile Markers 91 and 93.
