Sheriff Clint Roach reports that on 03/16/2026 at approximately 12:42 P.m, the deputies of the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a single vehicle crash on Daily Rd south of Beeson St., LaGrange Township, Cass County Michigan.
The investigation showed that a vehicle driven by Michael Bishop (70 years old from Benton Harbor, MI) was Northbound on Dailey Rd. when he lost control of his vehicle on the icy roads and hit a power pole. Bishop was transported by SMCAS Ambulance to Dowagiac Beacon Hospital for injuries sustained in the traffic crash.
Assisting agencies on scene were SMCAS EMS, Cass Central Fire Department, and Midwest Energy.
The crash remains under investigation.
