INCIDENT: H&N 655(B) -Reckless DUI Watercraft - Boating Under the Influence and
H&N 655(C) - BUI with a Blood Alcohol Content over .08%
LOCATION: Colorado River-Bass Point south of Emerald Cove
SUSPECT(S): Zane Polser, 19-year-old Resident of Azle, TX
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Saturday, March 14, 2026, at approximately 11:21 p.m., marine enforcement deputies responded to a reported incident near Bass Point, just south of Emerald Cove on the Colorado River.
During the investigation, it was determined Zane Polser, a Texas resident, was operating a vessel with one passenger. The two departed the Roadrunner Bar and were traveling southbound when the vessel collided with the shoreline at Bass Point, just south of Emerald Cove. As a result, Polser sustained minor injuries and was treated at a nearby hospital while the passenger reported no injuries.
Marine enforcement deputies determined Polser was operating the vessel while under the influence of alcohol and was found to have a fake ID. Polser was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Polser was later issued a citation and released from the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a future court date.
